Something to add to your climate change vocabulary - "green drought". It's still a drought, and everything is still dying, and the water reservoirs are still at record lows, but it actually rains once in a while and if you look across the fields/paddocks they're green (it's mostly weed). There's no sympathy to be found because "hey it rained yesterday". But it isn't really rain. It drizzles for a few minutes and then it's gone. This might repeat in a week or two. It's probably even more cruel than a full-on drought because everything is still dying, but much more slowly.
