In fact this is the signal that we have no free and neutral browser anymore. And, man, how costly it is to create a modern #browser!

So the first move as we see these happening should be to start (or support) a project for Ff neutralization. To watch the code, shadow development, and make it back neutral. I bet we'll get enough of anonymous support from Mozilla devs themselves.

Hell, I forgot about Opera! They even had a mobile browser back in the days. So if they would like to open the sources (which shouldn't be complicated if they're above Chromium), then they can get a good deal of market share.

And they looks like only ones who can neutralize a FLOSS browser from restrictions. Though it would be better to clean Ff, since it's much harder to close its sources than to abandon Chromium and keep only Chrome.

I want to see Yandex switching to Gecko in the latter case.

I don't really know all the four mentioned names, but I thought about Mozilla recently. And had a message sent on 9th about my concerns on browser neutrality and Mozilla growing inclination from freedom to corporations. That's what disturbing. The link is exemplary.
